How to Change Your Username on Pinterest




Have you been pinning lately on Pinterest? Users prefer getting on with this new social experience as it helps users to organize content easily and it's becoming more and more popular nowadays. So if you have already signed up for a Pinterest account, you may have already started pinning images and content found on the web. Doesn't have a Pinterest account yet? Then you can request an invitation. However as you create a new Pinterest account, you can grab a username for your account. But if you are not happy with your selected username, do you know you can switch to another?

Yeah... if you are not happy with selected username, Pinterest let you change it without any restrictions. But username is the unique identifier for a Pinterest user account. So Pinterest don't let you have same username on multiple accounts. Due to this reason, you will be restricted from selecting a username currently in use. But if you are lucky enough, your preferred username can be still available for you to use and once you set it, it cannot be taken. Well, it's general procedure, isn't it? Let's find it out and set it as your Pinterest username.


Steps:

1. Sign in to Pinterest.

2. Navigate to your Pinterest profile clicking on your name appears on top right corner.

3. Click on Edit Profile button.


3. Find Username option on the pop up box and enter your preferred username in the field.


Note: After entering your new username, it will notify about the availability of your preferred username. If it's not available, you have to try another until you find an available username.

4. Once you successful with selecting available username, click save profile button.
